Whispers in the Dark: The Secret Life Of Mila

On a dark cloudy day in 1657, A Baby Boy named “Mila” was born. Mila was born in a vampire family, He was an only child. After his birth, his parents raised him…poorly. Due to this, he grew up with a poor childhood.

1. Fast forward to when he was 11, his parents didn’t care that he walked outside in the town by himself. He walked around in his town in his slightly torn clothes, due to his parents not buying new clothes for him. It was midnight, the only thing that lit up the town was the moon and oil lamp post. He did feel a little hungry, so he walked to a shop and walked around the shop, looking for candy. He only had two gold coins, so he decided to get 3 pieces of chocolate. He paid for it and left the shop, he looked around his surroundings, no one could be found. In Front of him was a church, he could see the oil lamps lighting up the tinted glass. He ignored it and walked to his house, he saw the fireplace lit and his father sitting with his legs crossed over each other, with his glasses on and a book in his hand with a tiny table next to where he sat with a tea cup and a lit candle on it.

2. As Mila slowly walked in, his father glazed over to him through his glasses, after seconds of his father glazing at him, he looked back to his book. Mila walked by his father and walked up the stairs to his room, walking by the paintings, lamps lit up the walls. Mila grabs his key from his pocket, inserting the key into the door, walks over to his bed and lays down.

3. As he laid down, he grabbed the chocolate he bought from the shop from his pocket, and ate it as he stared up at the ceiling. The candle in his room lit the room, it was all quiet, the only thing he could hear was the flame from the candle, the wrapper from the chocolate and his breathing. There was a shadow on his wall, he’ll look over and it was his cat, Mila’s cat jumped onto his bed and rubbed against his hand as soon as he put his hand in front of him. Mila’s cat was unique, his cat wasn’t only a vampire cat, it had wings. Mila’s cat wings opened up as Mila petted his cat, he picked up his cat and put him on his shoulder.

4. He walked to the kitchen, he slowly put his cat down and let it eat its food. As Mila walked into the living room, he saw the fireplace still lit, his father still reading, but he saw his mom drinking tea in a chair. Mila greeted his parents, but they ignored it. So he went back to his cat, petting it as it ate, in response Mila’s cat rubbed against his hand. Fast forward to a week, Mila was walking with his parents, they were walking at night to a shop. Even though it was midnight, three people walked in, as Mila’s parents looked back to see who came into the shop, they went very pale. Mila looked up at his parents with confusion, his parents tried to rush. They tried to rush out of the shop, but they were finally outside. Mila’s mom grabbed his arm and tugged him into an alleyway, but the same people from the shop were at the end of the alleyway. They turned back but there were other people on the other side, they were trapped. Someone grabbed Mila and pulled him out of the alleyway, he cried out for his parents, he was pushed down to the ground, he heard his parents getting taken away, before he could even get up, he blacked out.

5. He woke up in a room, he looked around his surroundings. There was a door, he went up to it, he saw another door on the other side but he looked to the right and there was a hall. He was scared, he didn’t know what was going on. He looked around, and he found a tray with food. He sat down on the mattress on the floor, and ate.

6. It's been 11 years, he woke up and saw the door open and someone standing in front of the doorway. He couldn’t see because his long hair covered his face. His arm had bite marks from biting himself, he stand up. The person walked to him, he slowly walked back, due to fear. But the person slowly calmed him down and tricked him into trusting them, they bandaged his wounds and his bite marks. Mila looked up at the person, he couldn’t see any facial features of this person due to the dim light in this room.
